SEAMROCK MUSIC

Taking a quick break from studying for exams, just to let you guys know about a group of brothers I've had a privilege to work with. Here's a quick bio from their facebook group SEAMROCKER MUSIC:

"Seamrock is a production/ beatmaking outfit based in Lesotho. Though most of its works are hip hop orientated, these guys draw influence from a broad array of genres and musical styles. The Clique consists of Makhobalo Lesaoana, Mathealira Kholopo, Thabo Letsie and Moeti Moleko, respectively working under the pseudonyms Boomslang, K-10, Aurakle and Cymtom. A brief history will show that this four year old team has scored collaborations with a gang of artist on the Lesotho music scene as well as a handful abroad. We believe that in this last days of time when almost every form of art has mutated, there is a need, among other things, to provide the masses with that good old orthodox boom bap music that we all fell in love with. We strive towards this and hope that one day our efforts will have contributed an essential part in the growth of local music and the perpetuation of a global hip hop consciousness."
